No one ever imagined that such a small dog could get so jealous that it would give the whole family a headache for six months. Ever since the wife took him to be neutered, he seemed to see her as the person who had ruined his happiness. The moment he saw her, his eyes would fill with resentment, and he would even growl as if he were about to rush over and confront her. Every time this happened, the husband had to quickly step in and calm him down.
In the dog’s eyes, the husband seemed to belong to him alone. Wherever the husband went, the dog followed, leaving the wife laughing because sometimes she felt like the outsider in her own home. The funniest part was that every night, the dog insisted on “checking the room,” staying up late beside the husband and quietly preventing the couple from getting too close. Eventually, a veterinarian figured out what was really going on and taught the family how to handle the situation differently. While the husband was away, the wife gently stroked the dog while it sat on a high chair. Then something unexpected happened: the dog did not resist. Instead, it calmly curled up in her arms for the first time in six months.
